Adi Satriya is Chosen as Putra Ekowisata Indonesia 2021.

UB Media & Communication producer, Adi Satriya won the title of Putra Ekowisata Indonesia 2021. This predicate was announced at the Grand Final title for Putra Putri Ekowisata Indonesia, Wednesday (17/11/2021), at Graha Ristela, Ende City, East Nusa Tenggara.

Putra-Putri Ekowisata is an event for selecting ecotourism-based tourism ambassadors, namely ecosystem-based tourism development. This achievement was achieved by Adi after going through several stages of selection starting from virtual pre-quarantine, pre-quarantine, quarantine, and cultural titles.

In the cultural title, the man representing East Java province performed Bapang Malangan Dance which tells the story of Panji Asmarabangun who wanders in search of the missing Dewi Sekartaji.

Moreover, at the National Costume event, he wore a costume by Jusuf Bachtiar with the theme “The MYSTERY OF ALAS GUMITIR”, which is an area on the border of Banyuwangi and Jember which is famous for mystical things.

He said that from the entire series of competition stages, 22 participants (11 male and 11 female) were selected from 11 provinces in Indonesia who had to answer questions from the jury from tourism to socio-cultural fields. After that, it was filtered back into 12 participants, to 6 participants (3 boys and 3 girls) who were in the top 3.

In the top three round, the finalists answered questions given by the Chairman of NTT Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda).

Alhamdulillah, I managed to get the Winner title of Putra Ekowisata Indonesia 2021. I am happy, proud, and grateful to have the opportunity to represent the younger generation to continue to promote ecotourism in Indonesia. And of course I am also proud to be able to represent my alma mater and province in this prestigious event,” said Adi to Prasetya Online.

After this victory, the Alumni of UB Vocational Education, Department of Film and Television will cooperate with ecotourism actors in East Java to raise awareness among tourists to care about mangrove conservation.
