As many as 97.4 percent of UTBK participants were present at UB during batch 1 exams, Monday – Sunday (8-14/5/2023. A total of 570 participants were not present during that period. This was conveyed by the Secretary of the Directorate of Administration and Academic Services Heri Prawoto Widodo, S Sos., M.AB., on the last day of UTBK implementation, Sunday (14/5/2023).
“Our attendance is above 97 percent on average, secondly there are no significant problems, thirdly, the internet power network is all working. There is nothing that makes us have to think hard to solve it,” he said.
In addition, Heri also conveyed the area of origin of the participants. A total of 2,117 participants came from outside East Java. UB UTBK participants came from 34 provinces and the three most were East Java with 19,843 participants, West Java with 372 participants and Central Java with 255 participants.
Regarding participants from outside the province, Heri said that the committee did not limit it, but it was still advised to choose the most suitable location for the participants.
“Indeed, there is no limit on the committee having to choose a location. It could be that they chose Malang because of tutoring in Malang, they have relatives or they really want to know a lot about Malang,” said Heri.
