Winning Awards, UB Robotic Team Goes to National KRI

The Robotic Team of Electrical Engineering of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawijaya (FT UB) successfully advanced to Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) National level after winning three divisions in KRI Regional IV.

The three teams are ENSPARTAN 2nd winner of Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) Wheeled, NAKULA-NAYAKA 2nd winner in Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI), and BHATARA WIJAYA succeeded in winning the 3rd Indonesian Fire Extinguisher Robot Contest (KRPAI) and manage to get Best Strategy award.
The head of UB's Robotics Division, Tri Wahyu Prabowo, mentioned that his team competed quite tightly in the KRI Regional IV competition. His team competes with 93 teams from 42 universities from East Java, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, and Papua.

This Electrical Engineering Student claimed to have prepared this competition well. “Starting from running test until the day of competition, our team prepared well. Alhamdulillah we managed to advance in three categories from five existing categories," he said proudly.

He also said, for the preparation of National KRI that will be held at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) on July 11-14, 2018, his team will fix some robot components in order to perform as maximal as possible.

Dr.Eng. Denny Widhianuriyawan, ST., MT as FTUB's Vice Dean for Student Affairs also showed his support. "Congratulations to UB robotic team who won 3 out of 5 categories and succesfully goes to the national KRI. I give you the highest appreciation. But, you still need to work hard with high spirits to perform optimally to win it! Bravo UB Robotic Team!" he said provide support.
