The UB Quality Assurance Center (PJM-UB) holds an Executive Briefing of ISO 9001: 2015, Tuesday (03/26/2019). This event held in the framework of preparing this year's ISO 9001 recertification program. Previously, UB had implemented ISO 9001 certification since 2011 with the 2008 version, and currently it will updated to the 2015 version with the same certification body, namely Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) Indonesia.
This activity led by LRQA Indonesia Assessor Manager Erisman Soediman. He said, in preparation for certification, it is necessary to have a common perception and understanding for policy makers in UB. For this reason, the event held at the 8th Floor of the Rectorate Building was attended by all leaders of the Institute, Head of Bureau, Head of UPT, Chair of SPI, Secretary of BPU, Managing Directors of Business Entities and Business Units in UB.
Erisman invited the participants to understand the material of risk-based thinking which is the basis of the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015. That is by identifying what factors allow the emergence of risks for UB both from internal and external. Then the participants were invited to do an action plan simulation that must be done by UB to minimize the risks that arise based on the identification of the risks.
UB Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR., MS also attended this event. In his remarks, he revealed that ISO certification is one of the important factors in realizing UB's vision of becoming an international standard superior university. "Hopefully from the results of today's briefing, the participants can really apply in their respective work units for UB better," concluded the Chancellor.
