The September Art Project (SAP) is an art exhibition presenting the concept of togetherness of September Open Studio (SeptIOs) participants in 2017 who realized the need for appreciation. The aim is to promote the achievements of each exhibitor. The committee invited also several guest artists from Jogjakarta, Bali, and East Java.

September 2018 becomes the first year of a full month of art series in Batu and Malang city, the artists call it SAM (September Art Month) where positive competitive climate will emerge. Consisting of 15 different and simultaneous events in September, the event has the same mission to support the development of the national art field, especially in Malang.

"Achievements will not betray the process and hard work is proven in the existence of this SAP exhibition," said Romy Setiawan, S.Pd., M.Sn. "We hope that this event will be routinely held to motivate others, especially the artists in Malang," he continued. (DT/MSH/PSIK FIB)
