Brawijaya University students are returned to re-triumph in international competition. This time, the team consists of Naufal Alman Shafly (Faculty of Economics and Business), Yamamo Satrio (Faculty of Economics and Business), Febian Mahdatana (Faculty of Economics and Business), Mayasari (faculty of Economics and Business), Jufry Hariyanta (Faculty of Economics and Business), Ismelia Novitasari (Faculty of Economics and Business), Mathius Brein Andwika Sitohang (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science), Kevin Adiyasa Pahlevi (Faculty of Administrative Science), Jhorgi Hisamawa (Faculty of Economics and Business) and Anisa Fritri Ramadhania (Faculty of Economics and Business) were successful to win grand prize in an event named "Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) 2018 in Seoul, Korea (6-9/Dec/2018).

Raising a product named MANG.ID, namely an android based online application for marketing purposes with the small and medium enterprises market, the team was successful to compete with more than 33 countries from allover the world. Mathius Brein Andwika Sitohang, as the team representative explained that Indonesia is a country with the largest product submission in the event, around 41 products.

"MANG.ID itself is a platform for SMEs' product users to review their product quality that have been used. Its big vision is to strengthen SMEs as Indonesian economy pillars starts from Malang City, said Brien, his familiar name.

Under supervision of an Economics and Business lecturer Sigit Pramono, SE., M.Sc., MANG.ID can be accessed in form of Android application and it is available at playstore. He added, MANG.ID is still in development process due currently they have prepared patent rights from an institution at Brawijaya University.

As many as 606 innovation project were exhibited at SIIF 2018. Whereas SIIF was followed by different countries like Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Saudi Arabia, Croatia, Russia, Arab Emirate Union, Switzerland, Iran, Oman, Qatar, The United States of America, Poland, and so on. SIIF is an innovation exhibition and competition held by Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) supported by Korea Intellectual Property. This year, Indonesian innovation which is subordinated by Innopa was successful to grab 1 grand prize, 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 21 bronze medals, and other special awards from different countries.

Organized by KIPA, SIIF is supported by Korea Intellectual Property Organization (KIPO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and International Federation of Inventors Association.

"We want MANG.ID to grow big, starts from SMEs in Malang and then many users give their reviews on products they have used.
