Migration is transfer population from one place to another. This is delivered by Firstyarinda Valentina Indraswari, S.Sos., M.Si, an International Relations lecturer at Faculty of Social and Political Science Brawijaya University. Firstyarinda added that migration is divided into two, namely voluntary migration and forced migration.

"An example of voluntary migration is students who have to study outside of the city, so they have to stay in the city in which the college is located. Meanwhile, forced migration is people who have to leave their houses due an occurrence or disaster," he said.

The exposure was delivered in a seminar titled "Global Migration Film Festival 2018" organized by IOM (International Organization for Migration) in collaboration with International Relations Laboratory at Faculty of Social and Political Science on 13 December 2018. The seminar was packaged in an event so-called nobar (nonton bareng/wathing together) films titled "Journey to Darkness, the Rohiyang" and "Fremde dan A Thousand Girls Like Me" took palce at NUswantara Auditorium 7th floor of building B Faculty of Social and Political Science Brawijaya University.

Firstyarinda pursued, the event aimed at introducing that migration has been a global issue, can't be avoided, and becoming a very common thing.
