FT Professor Achieved IAAM Scientist Medal in Sweden

One Professor of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Brawiijaya (FT-UB), Prof Ir I Nyoman Gede Wardana MEng got an International Achievement (23/8/2017). Located at Seaside Auditorium, M/S Mariella, Sweden, Wardhana won the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM ) Scientist Medal. This medal is awarded to researchers with prominent research in Advanced Materials related to Science and Technology.

IAAM Medal Award is a series of activities of the European Advanced Materials Congress in 2017. IAAM gave this rewards to multi-field researchers; Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Marine, Engineering Physics, and medicine. This medal is aimed at a researcher focused on Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.

This Keio University graduate is the Head of Doctoral Program of Mechanical Engineering Department FT-UB. Besides education, Prof. Wardana is also active in research activities and Community Service. In 2009, he was also invited to present a paper in The 20th International Symposium on Transport Phenomena, at Victoria University, Victoria BC, Canada.

Being one of the recipients IAAM Medal Prof. Wardana officially became a member of this forum, valid from this year until 2022. The SM – 20/2017/IAAM certificate and the membership card is officially signed by IAAM President Professor Hisatoshi Kobayashi. (emis/mic)
