Christians at Brawijaya University organized a Christmas Celebration on Monday (10/Dec/2018). In a theme of "Rewind", Pdt. David Lumban Tobing invites all Christian students, lecturers and administration staffs at Brawijaya University to look back on things that happened in Indonesia, as well as to rewind them to always take a part in every good work.

"During 2018, Indonesia experienced various natural disasters, terrorisms, as well as issue or hoax. Through these various things, we are reminded to always have a heart like Father's heart, which is caring, loving, act, and sacrifice," said Pdt. David Lumban Tobing.

The event organized at Samantha Krida building was attended by Christian students, lecturers and administration staffs at Brawijaya University. After the worship, it was continued by a Christmas celebration which was attended by several principals at Brawijaya University. The celebration was enlivened by a drama performance by students, 'Narwastu' vocal group, and musical team from UAKK UB (Christians and Catholics Activity Units Brawijaya University).

Chairman of Christian KORPRI (Employee Corps of the Republic of Indonesia) Brawijaya University Prof. Dr. Ir. Wignyanto, M.S in his remarks, expressed his gratitude to all university and faculty principals on their support, thus the event can run well. He added, the Christmas celebration at Brawijaya University was coupled with a social charity organized on Tuesday (18/Dec/2018) at GKJW (Gereja Kristen Jawi Wetan/East Java Christian Church) Sitiarjo, Sumbermanjing Wetan sub-district, Southern Malang. The aids in form of basic foods and some money were delivered to 100 God Servants at the area.

Meanwhile at the end of the event, UAKK Coach Kotok Gurito, SE reminded all Christian students at Brawijaya University which are divided into 15 PMK (Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen/Christian Student Alliance) at each faculty to synergy in maturing the faith.
